Mediating vs Litigating a Family Law Case:
We believe it is critical for people facing family law issues to fully understand the consequences of their decisions and how those decisions are made. When those decisions are made in mediation, decision-making stays with you and your spouse. We strive to help all of our clients reach reach agreements resolving their legal issues through mediation.
Family law matters involve highly personal issues, the resolution of which is likely to be frustrated by arguments, hurt feelings, and lengthy, expensive litigation. Even if a resolution is ultimately reached, the conflict, the time, and the expense involved may not be in the best interests of the parents and are almost certainly not in the best interests of any children involved.

Some of the Benefits of Resolving Your Family Law Case through Mediation:

We have discovered that spouses and parents who resolve their divorce, alimony, child support, child custody, and other family law matters through mediation can achieve the following:

* Avoiding emotionally-charged confrontations
* Finding solutions that are fair to both parents and in the best interests and welfare of their children
* Remaining more satisfied with the arrangements reached working together than those that might be imposed by a judge
